    Oh, gawd. Wasn't sure it could get worse than liver/gizzards, but
    apparently it can. Why on earth would someone want to eat that?

    I will admit to having eaten "tripe" as my parents called it. Pickled
    (?) cow stomach lining, I believe it is. When I say "eaten", I mean it
    was more like "You're not leaving the table till that is gone". PTSD
    takes many forms. ;-)

    While I got to try real Canadian bacon while I was up there, I didn't find
    a chance to try the peameal bacon. I was on the lookout for it. ;)
