Hello, I have uploaded all the sunrise doors programs. 16 bit, 32bit and home editions.

I also have an archive that includes my registration codes.

Apologies if this was already mentioned and I wasn't paying attention to the thread..

Are they not able to be registered via Al's website any more, or has he stopped responding?

I only ask because I got that bundle like 10+ years ago (don't currently offer the doors, but still have the saved email with the codes), so I don't know the current status of registration or if Al's around anymore.

Yeah, he's done. The sunrisedoors.com website has been giving an "Error 500" for close to two years now. One day I reached out to him to ask if he was aware, and he replied saying, "Yes, I am aware that the website is down Permanently. Mother Nature has a way of telling you to call it quits !!!!" (with the word "Permanently" underlined and bolded).

I didn't ask him what he meant by that at the time. I just thanked him for his time and the doors and left it at that.

On a positive note, he offered those doors with free keys via that website for quite awhile before deciding to close up shop. I'm guessing he has no way to open source them or make some kind of master key to put out there for everyone to use. So I suppose as long as he's cool with passing around existing keys, we can at least continue to do that.

Looks like I have two emails saved from April of 2015. One was from al@sunrisedoors.com (the actual list of keys) and the other from support@sunrisedoors.com (the verification email that I requested the keys). By that time they were free.

Are they still valid? He's had those emails for a long time, and has them listed in .DIZ files as well as other places. I'm sure he's already getting enough spam, where posting it here wouldn't make much difference.

Seems like he may not be interested in doing so any more. But someone would probably have to ask him personally what his future intentions are (sounded like something about mother nature telling him to call it quits was basically saying he was done).

Would he get rid of them? Or was there a clause that he couldn't resell? The world may never know.. ;)

I suppose he could have done that, but he was giving away free keys to anyone that emailed for over a decade. He could have easily made a one-time catch-all "My BBS" registration with all of the keys, and just send it out in a zip file.
