Today is National Third Shift Day .
A day to pay tribute those who keep our cities
operating while we sleep.

I personally was one of those people. I worked for 2 years as a Detroit Police Officer, and
then for 21 years with the City of Fort Lauderdale.

Happy to have served, but even happier to be retired.
