notice some files wont download and some will.That should be fixed now. Keep in mind files ove 1gb will take FOREVER via telnet and twice as fast over the web page. Use the same credentials to log into the web side as you do on the telnet side and look through files until yo find the one you like and then just click it to start the download. I hope you enjoy.

I am looking for a replacement zmodem external for larger files. If you are tenacious zmodem will remember where your interruption occurred and resume f that point. Or you can download from ricksbbs.synchro.net:8080 just log in a find your file choice. The we. Side works perfectly.ok i been using the port 8080 no problems.

The zmodem will not work for uploading files over 2 gb in size to the BBS or Downloading them from the BBS. That is a ZMODEM limitation. It is pretty slow that way too. Must faster going through the web interface ricksbbs.synchro.net:8080 log yourself in and just find the directory then file you want and it should show in blue shade then click or tap it and it should start downloading. Your web client may or may not ask you to confirm a download option.

ok i been using the port 8080 no problems.
Seems to be the normal. Everything on the WEB part worked great from the beginning. I think the Telnet side is getting better and better as we go alo Have a good weekend buddy.This is a great BBS, just like I remember it from the 90s, but with a web page now!
