You have to believe in ghosts and stuff. I believe the dead like to be visted. Short story. I had a friend several weeks before he died every picture not just one camera but others as well had orbs in it around behind or above the person. From different angles, different places and from atleast 3 different cameras at different times... I have had soo many of those werid experiences. Esp seeing things before they happenn but not able to control the power. Why is the world soo perfect.. like the titanic or the madoff guy you know what I mean.. (my spelling sucks..) Why does everything sound perfect. You can't tell me just because we can't see it doesn't mean it isn't there... Anyway.. there's my 2 cents..

I've heard some people don't believe in ghosts because they believe that once someone dies, they are with God (or something to that effect).

I subscribe to that belief myself. I do however, think there some echoes we leave behind. You know, impressions of a sort. Maybe that’s what people are seeing as orbs?

I always thought the Christian soul goes to Heaven and never comes back. I also have read that God's ways are mysterious and not for us to understand. I wonder if the ORBS could be something evil? I have seen pictures of orbs and always thought it was dust floating into the cameras lens at the time the picture was taken.

I believe that the Bible teaches that ALL souls go somewhere, not to return
to earth. Look at the story (Jesus didn't call it a parable) of Lazarus
and the rich man. One went to Paradise - Abraham's Bosom - there are
different names. I don't believe we nessesarily go straight to Heaven
I mean.

And the rich man went to hades or hell. He even said 'let me go back and
tell my brothers or send someone' (paraphrasing) and was denied.

Bottom line, I don't believe that they are souls; I beleive that they are demonic and meant to distract.

We were in San Antonio for a conference several years ago and did a
'ghost tour' of the town - one of those walking things. Yes, I was a
Christian but wasn't as firm in my belief or conviction at the time. Now
I regret it, but I will say that we didn't see anything that night, but
my wife's camera picked up MANY many orbs at one of the larger sites and antoher person's iPad picked up a figure looking at him through a window
of one of the haunted places.

Was something there? Yes! Was it souls of the departed? I do not believe
so. Either way, the Bible says not to seek out the dead, and I have
repented of this since then. Now I use it as an example for those that
might want to dabble...

An as for the distration aspect? You can bet it was a distraction for
me! And did I share Christ with a single person on that trip? Nope!
And again, for that I am ashamed and I have repented.

I have never seen orbs. I think sometimes people are haunted. It would explain why when two people are in a room p, only one sees the ghost.

I remember something that happened when I was just getting started with my mediumship, and it blew me away! It was Christmas, and my boss invited me to his house for a holiday gathering. As soon as I got there, I saw the spirit of a little blonde girl run by wearing a white communion style dress holding a little Yorkie dog. I told the group, and they laughed because they were Vietnamese. There were no little blonde girls in their family. My boss used to tease me about it at work – “remember the little blonde girl?”
Later that season, he came to me and he wasn’t teasing me anymore. He showed me a photo he had taken of his Christmas tree, and the little girl and her dog were right there, in the photo, sitting at the base of the tree. My boss asked around and did some research in the neighborhood and sure enough, he found out that there was a young girl on the street who had passed – along with her little dog.

Seeing orbs and images in photos shouldn’t come as a surprise, for a couple of reasons. First of all, we are all energy – and that energy doesn’t go away when we pass. Paranormal energy disrupts things like electricity, turning lights on and off and causing static on television and radio, as well as appearing in photos. Souls in heaven can be very determined to let their loved ones know they’re around – especially during significant or emotional events. I think that it’s no accident that their energy shows up. It’s just another way they can be there to share a special occasion with the people they love.
