You dunno who CCR is?? How old are you if you don't mind me asking.. I'm 25 and CCR is my favorite group.. Grew up listening to them..

    I'm 21, and I currently live in a cave.

    We know.

Anyhow, I've heard some of the music, but never knew who did it.

So do you know who did "Killa Bunnies" ???

    Lyrics:

    Snivering little bunny,
    bouncing up and down.
    Scummy little creatures,
    Run them out of town.
    In the tiny tunnels,
    scuffling under ground.
    Toxic little bunny,
    can always be found.

    Danger evil rodent,
    Multiplying every day.
    Bunny taking over,
Get on your knees and pray.
    Filthy fluffy creatures,
    Teeth as sharp as knives.
    The long-eared ones are coming,
Run! Run! Run for your lives!

    Killa bunny is a comin',
    Killa bunny on his way!
    Killa bunny is a comin',
Are you hearing what I say?

No, you are _not_ allowed to ask Mr. Google for help!

Takin a guess from the word "killa", it some rap group. But, the song appears to be more like something from Monty Python. Neeee!

Don't even recall the song. CCR also? =p

    Hits include:
Bad Moon Rising, Fortunate Son, I Put a Spell on You, Proud Mary, Suzie Q, Down on the Corner, Up Around the Bend, Who'll Stop the Rain, I Heard it Through the Grapevine, Looking Out My Back Door, Green River, Lodi...

Now that's spooky if I start playing that stuff. My father is an Oldies/Motown fanatic. I swear, if I start playing a few of those, he'll
be pounding on my door to take me over to his records. Then he'll demonstrate he has the song by playing it off a bunch of old vinyls...

...same thing happens when they use music from around that timeframe on TV.

IMO, there are no other bands quite like Led Zeppelin. They are truly a
one of a kind, and perhaps the greatest rock band ever. But, that era did produce some excellent music. Checking amazon's site... customer's who
bought Led Zeppelin's Boxed Set (one would think that would be their

I've been trying some Zeppelin for lead practice. The problem is finding reliable tabs, and interpreting them properly. Some of that stuff is

I'll have to agree with you there William... I've only started to list Clapton as I thought for some strange reason he was "popish" music. WO wrong. Led Zeppelin I have liked for quite some time. Too bad I was ne around to even see them live as I am only 22 :) I hope I'm not too off but what other bands in the 60's are more like Led Zeppelin? I was jus wondering as I would like to try and listen to some other bands in the

I saw Page & Plant back in '99 at the Palace of Auburn Hills here in the Detroit area.. they rocked.. I heard they are getting back together to next year as "Led Zeppelin" with the late John Bohnom's son on drums!

I'm sad to say there appears to be no truth to this rumour.

When I was in high school, I had tickets to see them in Dallas. The John Bonham died. I never got to see them either. But I did get their boxed CD set.

but what other bands in the 60's are more like Led Zeppelin? I was

Cream is good, The Animals, Deep Purple, Alice Cooper, The Dixie Dregs, if you like it a little rough.
Bad Company is a little popish, but pretty good. The Guess Who and Bachmann, Turner Overdrive
    is a pretty good start.

I'm messing with Black Dog right now. I barely have the beginning down, but that's a great start for me, considering I haven't been back on guitar a month yet. I suppose the biggest problem is that tab doesn't
show timing well. It has to be read in conjunction to listening to the
song. I realize this is a problem with tab in general, and not just Led Zeppelin stuff.
Also, people trying to get this all down by ear are eventually
screwed whenever the lead switches over to wah...

Would you like me to make some video clips, close up of the neck of the
guitar playing some fun stuff that you should be able to pick up quickly and start having fun on the guitar fast. Kind of the Suzuki method of learning.

I've been playing guitar for over 30 years, I have been teaching my son and
his friends along with many people over the years.

I'll keep the file sizes down to a meg or two and they can play in media player. I have a program that will save the files in MS_ASF format.

Some of the stuff will be original material, some will be popular music you
may have heard. I won't go into all the more complicated stuff unless you
    feel you are ready.

    I uploaded a file I created to VERT.SYNCHRO.NET
into the Music rare are. Not sure if that was the berst choice, but there really didn't seem to be a better choice.

I guess it is rare, not many of my videos floating around. Haha.

Look for a file call MODGIT.AVI, it is about 7 megs in size, it plays part
of a song, kind of a "Good Luvin'" feel to the tune.

At the end of the clip, it shows the first part in TAB. The video clip also shows a close up of the neck of the guitar so you can see the bar chord
    finger positions.

If you like it, I will send more.

No, it is more an issue of picking songs right now. I have been teaching myself lead and chords from music I like, and doing fairly well. The
problem has been with barre chords. With little "fun" exercises to use
to practice them, interest soon wanes. And by "fun exercises," I'm thinking
    of likeable songs.

Anyhow, the guitar has to get mailed to Texas before I can get to practicing again. It's a dead deal ATM.
