Do you like lots of reverb or only a little? Personally I like lots. Why you ask? Well the more room space you create on a track the further you feel making it seem like you're far away from home.

    It depends.
I like a good true spring reverb in an amp, but I've also tried several reverb pedals with my guitars that I think do a pretty good job. I think my favorite reverb pedal right now is the DigiTech Hardwire RV-7. It has several different reverb sounds, and I think its spring reverb sounds really close to a Fender Twin amp spring reverb. One time I did an A/B test when I used to have a Fender Twin '65 Reissue amp, and it was hard for me to tell the difference between the amp's reverb and the DigiTech RV-7 spring reverb through the amp.

I'm not much a of player, but when when I was fiddling with Guitarix on my Ubuntu box, the reverb preformed like I expected.

I should probably look more into Linux music recording software. It seems there's some interesting software available for Linux.

Yeah there's Ardour and Rosegarden. Audacity is also good. I highly recommend them all.
