So I wonder if their are many software packages for the Amiga...
Just playing with different software, and sence emulation works so well now with the faster processors, I can run alot...
There are a couple systems that I used to love logging into, which leave me with fond memories on the user side. SkyNet was one... it made good use of RIP graphics, and at the time I thought that was really cool. Worked fairly well, if I remember correctly.
The best one by far was C-Net Amiga. I was a cosysop on a local Cnet
board, and used to administer the doors for the sysop. Since that was my
first experience doing any kind of door install, and I was doing it from
remote and rarely asking the sysop for any help, I think that kinda speaks to the stability and usability in that aspect of it! :) Amazing how much
trouble I can have trying to configure doors (even when it was 16bit doors on 16bit bbses in 16bit dos...)
Anyhow, I have no clue about the status of Cnet. I'm too lazy and tired at the moment to look it up, but I think I seen on a list that it's defunct. However, I'm certain you could snag a copy on Ebay. Amigas are beginning to gain interest again these days (yay!).
