You're gonna have to be a bit more specific. You can't pull down xml content directly with html (you might be able to with html 5), you need something like php or js to help you pull it down, parse it and display it.

    What webserver are you using?

A friend of mine and I have been looking into starting a local Chicago-bas BBS... in looking around it seems quite disconnected I think and looking f some guidance on how to get started. The first software I found was OpenTG looks like there are others such as Wizard and maybe one other.

I'm lost and looking for a primer - anyone care to help? I ran a BBS 'back the day' but used Wildcat! software.

Well the most popular used now a days are Syncronet. I personally use Mystic which I like a lot.

Are there any features or services people would like added to
    bbs-scene.org?

I was thinking of an iPhone app for the onelinerz, like a low tech twitter. ---

As an iPhone user, I would think the onelinerz app would be neat.

I saw the oneliners being posted to Twitter earlier today, so congatulations on
a job well done! And that's a nice slogan right there. BBS & Twitter - Where Web 0.2 Meets Web 2.0!
Thanks. Working with OAuth which is the only way to post to twitter via their API is a serious bitch, but I thought it a nice way to try to bring the bbs scene into the modern world without losing the bbs experience.

I have one question. It is possible use rCRT-MailrCL mailer with IFCICO (60179) protocol for
transfer packet? If it is, so rather IrCyll prefer this alternative.

    I don't think so. I think T-Mail would only work in a vmodem/netserial
type situation for mailer-to-mailer transfers (which my BBS is capable
    of) via telnet.

Also, it probably would have been a better idea to email your scinet application to Netsurge rather than post it here where we can see your passwords and all :)

So, what's the API for these? Would be a great excuse to fire up wcDEV > again and make a version of these for WINServer boards that wish to
    participate ;)
