Anyone have any suggestions on how to extract audio tracks from dvd-audio? Bought depeche mode remasters but they put the bonus tracks as dvd-audio, stupid morons at mute. :P
Anyone have any suggestions on how to extract audio tracks from dvd-audio
as a file or not. I would just plug the rca outs of a dvd player, into the computer input of the soung card and record the songs that you want.
Or play the dvd on the compter and record the audio with the same recording software.
If any one else has a suggestion or know of some software that would work better, then I would like to know about that as well.
Or you might try 'mplayer -dumpaudio' and look in ./stream.dump for theThats a good ideal. I might have to give this a try and see how it works. I like to get sample and other things to use in my music. This seems like it would be a way to get what I need without any loss.

There are a few or a lot (depends on the kind of music you are into) that ha used the vinyl scratches and noises in there music. I allways got a kick ou of that.

Don't know if you can put the dvd into the computer and look at the song dat as a file or not. I would just plug the rca outs of a dvd player, into the computer input of the soung card and record the songs that you want. If you have good audio software on your computer and a good soundcard then you shou be fine.
